SPN fantasy AU sketch dump

I have this concept of for a fantasy AU stuck in my head and someday I want to write fic for it.

The setting is a fantasy kingdom that is ruled by the Novak’s who also happen to be some type of angel like beings. Cas is the youngest prince.

John Winchester was a black smith who worked for the royal family, but is retired now and travels about searching for better ores to make better metal.   

Dean, like his father is a black smith who is extremely good at what he does, but he refuses to work for the royals.

Sam is learning magic. But here is the thing, John won’t hear of it because there mom was killed by a sorcerer, AKA Azazel.

Sam learns magic any way and winds up the apprentice to Prince Gabriel, forth in like for the thrown and vary talented sorcerer with a benevolent choice if magic.  When he is in the palace with Gabriel, Sam discovers that there is something fishy going on with the royals and the story unfolds from there.

Meanwhile Dean and Cas are off making friends or whatever without Dean even knowing that Cas is a royal.
